Connect

We love to be family at Vineyard Bath, to support each other, share life, be generous to each other, encourage one another and to go deeper in our relationships with God together.

If you are new to Vineyard read on to find out more about our kids, youth and student groups and the things that we would encourage you to do in order for you to find family and get involved.

The First Steps

Follow these helpful suggestions and have a look around our website as you find out more about Jesus and consider whether this is the church you would like to get involved in:

1

If you're new to faith and just want to find out a bit more about what we believe and why we follow Jesus then visit our Exploring Faith page.

2

Come along on a Sunday - find out more about us by joining one of our three communities for our weekly gatherings.

3

Sign-up for a Newcomers’ Welcome Event - We would love to invite you to a relaxed, friendly welcome drinks where you can meet the Leadership Team, hear the journey of the church, find out how to get involved and make friends with other people new to Vineyard.

4

Fill in a Connect form - we place a really high value on relationships so please fill this in so that we can get in touch, get to know you and keep you updated on everything going on at Vineyard Bath.

Vineyard Kids

We are passionate about seeing every child being all that God has created them to be. We want our babies, toddlers, children and young people to experience the Holy Spirit and to pursue Jesus with their whole heart.

We believe Jesus invites everyone, of all ages, to participate in His Kingdom. We are excited and expectant to see courageous, fearless, risk-taking young disciples of Jesus being used to bring love into their schools, clubs and families, Monday to Sunday. We want them to have fun and be excited about Jesus and His church.

We provide Vineyard Kids sessions on Sunday mornings at our Mulberry Park and Somer Valley Communities.

Vineyard Youth

We are passionate about young people (11-18 year olds) becoming captivated by God, pursuing His call for their lives and sharing their passion for Him with their peers and community. We want to deepen our young people’s compassion and concern for their communities, our city and the world focusing on action and service. We love releasing the potential in our Youth and want to develop and equip young leaders. Our vision is that this passion will enable them to find their purpose and to become agents of change in their world.

Every time we meet we offer a variety of fun, creative activities which focus on socialising and sharing. Alongside our usual gatherings on Sundays and mid week, we also run weekends away, day trips and engage our young people with mission outside of the church.

If you’d like to find out more about Vineyard Youth please contact Lois Ross or Johnny Dobson, our Youth Team Leaders.

Students

Check out our welcome video below!

Students are a key part of Bath and whether you’ve been here a while or are just starting here, we’re so excited to see you! We would love you to play your part in what God is doing here and we want you to find a place to be trained and equipped so that we can serve the city and universities together.

Core Communities are smaller groups of people meeting together over the week and these run throughout the church. All of our Core Communities welcome students.

We also meet for student gatherings where we worship and pray together, build Jesus-centred relationships and meet the needs of our city. We’ll go to Cause to Live For, the Vineyard Churches 20s-30s weekend, in the Autumn and there are tons of fun social events in our church calendar. These are great opportunities to hang out together as well as getting to know others in the church. We’re currently running our student events online, get in touch with Andy Wardrope if you want to find out more – or even just have a chat!
